Meet CoreLingo

What if learning a new language could start with just a few dozen simple words?

CoreLingo is a small language designed to help you discover the core of many other languages. It is not intended to replace English, Spanish, Chinese, German or any other language. Instead, it acts as a bridge between languages — giving you a simple foundation that makes new languages easier to recognize, remember and learn.

The words are deliberately short, easy to pronounce and easy to combine. Many are chosen because they create familiar connections across several languages.

HALOhellohelloholahallohej
NIyounǐ (Chinese)
NAMAnamenamanamnname
BOgoodbonbuenoboa

Three words, many sentences

  • NA = I
  • NI = you
  • SA = be

From these three words you can already build:

NA SA John.

I am John.

NI SA?

Are you?

KAI NI SA? BO. NI?

How are you? Good. And you?

The idea is simple: instead of memorizing hundreds of unrelated words and phrases, you learn a small set of core building blocks and start combining them.

Each word is also chosen to create memory bridges to words you may encounter in other languages. Learning NI can help you recognize Chinese nǐ. Learning NAMA can help you recognize nama or namn. Learning BO can help you recognize bon, bueno or boa.

CoreLingo is more than a simplified language. It is a language bridge.

A small first language that helps make the world's many languages feel a little more familiar.

Learn the core. Build the bridge. Discover the languages.
